Pedro Bourbon de Aguiar Branco

Pedro Bourbon de Aguiar Branco has been an antiques dealer for more than 30 years and in 1990 he founded the company V.O.C. Antiguidades, Lda in Porto.


Member of APA -Portuguese Antiques Dealers Association,  CINOA -Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d´Art and S.N.A. Syndicat National des Antiquaires, France.


His area of expertise is furniture and works of art from the time of the Discoveries as well as the art that was the outcome of the Portuguese contact with Africa and the East - Art of the Portuguese Expansion in its different fields as African ,Indian, Singhalese, Chinese and Japanese.

 


 


Pedro Aguiar Branco cooperated with the following exhibitions:


-A Herança de Rauluchantin - Museu de S. Roque, Lisboa 1996.


-Reflexos: simbolos e imagens do Cristianismo na Porcelana Chinesa, Museu de S. Roque, Lisboa 1997.

In August 2007 together with Álvaro Roquette he opened a gallery in Lisbon  AR-PAB at Rua D.Pedro V, 69.


In January 2013 together with Alvaro Roquette he opened a gallery in Paris at nº 10, rue de Beaune, 75007 Paris.


Amongst his clients are major private collectors, institutions and museums all over the world.
